FUTA Post UTME Form: The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Post UTME Form is out and application is ongoing. The portal is open for UTME candidates who wish to study in the Federal University of Technology, Akure. Read through to see guidelines on how to apply.


The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA)

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), is a top ranking University in Nigeria and indeed the nation’s pride. The Federal University of Technology  FUTA was Established in the year 1981, FUTA has grown tremendously, extending its academic disciplines and research to eight different schools and over fifty academic departments.

The aim of FUTA is to promote technological advancement by making provision for conducive environment for research, teaching and learning engenders development of products that are technologically oriented, self-reliant and relevant to society

FUTA Registration Portal

Registration portal for FUTA Post UTME Form for 2019/2020 was opened on Monday, 1st  July and closes on 26th  July 2019.

Requirements for FUTA Post UTME Application Form

UTME candidates who has met it up to a minimum store of 180 in the concluded 2019 UTME by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates selected FUTA as their first choice are qualified for the screening exercise. Also, candidates must have had at least five (5) credit passes including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates who do not take part in the 2019 FUTA Post UTME screening will not be qualified for admission. Also, candidates with awaiting result will not be considered for admission. Candidates must possess at least a Pass in physics in order to be qualified for admission into any programme in FUTA.

Date for the FUTA Post UTME Screening Exercise

Computer-Based Post-UTME screening exercise for admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2019/2020 Academic session will commence on Tuesday, 30th July and end on Friday, 2nd August, 2019.

FUTA Post UTME Screening Fee

Candidates who wish to apply for FUTA Post UTME Form will have to pay a nonrefundable fee of  Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00) which can only be made at any bank branch REMITA.

How to Apply for FUTA Post UTME Form

Interested candidates should go through the following steps to process their application

  • Visit the Universities official website at futa.edu.ng
  • Login with your UTME Registration Number
  • Generate RRR Number, make PAYMENT on REMITA platform and COFIRM the payment
  • Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application form online
  • Print out a copy.

The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise.  Please note that the candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.

Prompt: After payment, each candidate should visit the FUTA University’s website official at www.futa.edu.ng and complete an online Registration Form.  The Registration Form should be printed for the candidate’s use.

Uploading of O’Level Results

All candidates who are affected should kindly submit their SSCE/NECO results online through the University’s official website at www.futa.edu.ng which will begin from Monday, 1st July to Tuesday, 20th August, 2019. Candidates should note that the closing date for submission of their O’ level results would NOT be extended; and any candidate who do not upload his/her results would NOT be qualified for admission by FUTA University.

2. Wednesday, 31st July, 2019 School of Engineering & Engineering Technology (SEET)
3. Thursday, 1st August, 2019 School of Computing (SOC) and School of Sciences (SOS)
4. Friday, 2nd August, 2019 DIRECT ENTRY/MOP-UP.

Requirements for FUTA Post UTME Screening Exercise

2019 UTME candidates are required to bring the following items to the screening venue

  • Depositor’s copy of Bank Teller indicating payments as appropriate
  • JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration slips
  • Candidates are required to print a copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form
  • Candidates are required to Print-out their REMITA payment receipt (collected from the Bank)
  • Candidates are required to go with one passport photograph.
  • Candidates who would like to have a feel of CBT Practice Module should visit the FUTA WEBSITE. Even though this is not compulsory, but it is highly recommended to enable candidates get acquainted with the processes of the exercise.
  • The Screening exercise is scheduled to hold at the FUTA Digital Resource Centre, “Obanla Campus”,


Prompt:  Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones, IPad, Walkman, wrist watches, sun glasses or any other electronic gadget and extraneous materials into the screening hall. Any UTME candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the Computer-Based Screening Exercise will automatically be disqualified.
