EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Emmanuel Agwu is the sole proprietor of ‘Emma’s Tiles Shop’.  The shop will be located in Calabar Municipal L.G.A of Cross River State.  We have done our detailed market research and feasibility studies and we were able to secure a rented shop to start our tiles business.

We are in tiles business because we want to leverage on the vast market opportunities available in Calabar and beyond, to contribute our quota in growing the Nigeria economy, particularly in ceramic tiles industry and above all to make profits.

Emma tiles is well positioned to become one of the leading ceramic tiles businesses in Cross River State which is why we hope to source for the best hands machines to run the business.  We have put process and strategies in place that we will use, employ best practices when it comes to tiles sales and tiling (fixing).

At Emma’s tiles shop, our customer’s best interest will always come first, and everything we do will be guided by our values and professional ethics.  We will ensure that we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards by meeting our customers need precisely and completely.  We will cultivate a working environment that provides a human, sustainable approach to earning a living and living in our world, for partners, employees and for the customers.

Emma’s tiles shop is privately registered company that is venturing into tiles industry.  The venture is owned by Emmanuel Agwu and her immediate family members.  The business will be fully and single handedly financed by the owner Emmanuel with the assistance of Liberty Multi-purpose co-operative.

The tiles business is a flourishing business because it’s a popular one in today’s world.  Tiles are popular flooring choice in Nigerian homes, offering a huge range of benefits.  They will outlast any other flooring materials and keep the home nice and cool in the summer months.  A good investment, floor tiles will almost and always increase the value of any home and keep it looking its best long last being laid.
