Babcock University (BU) was established on September 17, 1959. The University was formally called Adventist College of West Africa (ACWA) founded by the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a senior college for training church workers from the West African sub-region, ACWA started with only seven ministerial students.

Application Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of the First Degree Programs: 5 credits at the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB Examinations or their equivalent (at not more than 2 sittings) including English Language and Mathematics; one sitting only for Medicine & Surgery.  Candidates who are below 16 years should not apply.

PROMPT: Candidates Awaiting In Waec/Neco Ssce Results Will Be Required To Present Acceptable Qualifications Before Matriculation.

All candidates who apply for Direct Entry are required to sit for the current Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) (for 100 Level) or apply for JAMB Direct Entry admissions (for Direct Entry).  Candidates applying for Transfer Admissions need to present JAMB Admission letter, Transcript and Attestation Letter from the previous University.

All candidates applying to Babcock University must enroll in the UTME examination of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) get the required cut-off mark. This is required for entry into Nigerian Universities. Finally candidates should apply for programmes of their choice by filling the JAMB registration forms.

How to Apply for Babcock University Post UTME

Read the following and follow the steps on how to process the Babcock University admission form

After your UTME/JAMB FORM is filled and submitted UTME/JAMB FORM

Applicants should visit http://application2.babcock.edu.ng to begin their application process.

Create login details with your email address and your phone number

Log-in with your Username as your email address and Password as sent to the email address supplied in

On the Left Panel do the following:

  • Click to fill Form. Make sure you fill all information requested for.
  • Click button to save form if you have filled every information.
  • Upload your Passport Photograph according to the specified size, and JPG or PNG format.
  • Select Screening Centre and Date of Screening.

Payments for the Application: All applications should be taken the bank (Wema, Diamond, GTB, FirstBank, UBA). Pay the sum of ₦2,000.00. including service at ₦350.00 which will sum up to ₦2,350.00.

After the completion of the payment, log in to the application system and Click Submit.
