AKSU Post Utme/DE Screening Date  

AKSU Post Utme/DE admission screening exercise for 2019/2020 academic session is scheduled as follows

  • AKSU screening for 1st Choice UTME candidates will begin from Monday, August 26, 2019 to Friday and will end in August 30, 2019
  • AKSU screening Test for Direct Entry (DE) candidates will begin from Wednesday, August 21, 2019

The screening exercise will hold at AKSU Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin L.G.A.

Time for AKSU Post Utme and Direct Entry (DE) Screening

The time for the screening is 9am daily.

Requirement for AKSU Post Utme and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Forms

  • ONLY Candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation JAMB and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Akwa Ibom State University AKSU their First Choice Institution, are qualified to take part in the screening.
  • Each candidate must have at least five (5) credit passes including English Language at a maximum of two (2) sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates must possess the following degrees OND/NCE/HND/First Degree/A’ Level in relevant discipline and subjects

UPLOADING OF O’LEVEL RESULTS

  • All candidates who are affected should kindly upload their SSCE/NECO results online through the University’s portal at aksu.edu.ng/portal beginning from Friday, July 12, 2019 to Friday, August 16, 2019.
  • Candidates should ensure appropriate uploading of their O’level results in JAMB Portal.

PROMPT: Any candidate who does NOT upload his/her results will be disqualified automatically.

REGISTRATION PERIOD

AKSU registration portal will be opened from Friday, July 12, 2019 and closes in Friday, August 16, 2019.

How to Register for AKSU Post UTME/DE Screening Form

Infested applicants should proceed their applications online through the following procedure  below:

Go to http://portal.aksu.edu.ng to generate Pre-Payment Analysis Slip using the following steps:

  1. Click on the REGISTER NOW button in the Login Page
  2. Click on PUTME/DIRECT ENTRY in the Registration-Type Menu and select PUTME button.
  3. Input your JAMB registration number in the field and click VERIFY.
  4. On the right hand side of the page, click on CLICK TO MAKE PAYMENT button and print the generated pre-payment slip.
  5. Visit the Bank with the pre-analysis slip to process your payment
  6. You will be charged N2,000 ONLY excluding bank charges.
  7. After payment, repeat steps 1 to 3 above. The payment status on the right side of the page should now show PAID.
  8. Click the “>” symbol at the extreme right hand side of the page to continue with the registration.
  9. Fill the form and ensure you scan and upload the following documents (with sizes not more than 100KB)
  • WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate/Result as may be applicable.
  • Certificate of origin.
  • 2019 UTME result printout.
  • 2019 JAMB DE printout (Direct Entry applicants only).
  • Diploma, NCE or A-level result or certificate (Direct Entry applicants only).
  1. Print three (3) copies of Registration Slip from the portal. This is your screening Photocard. It carries the date and venue of your PUTME screening.

Requirements AKSU Screening Exercise

The following are required for AKSU screening exercise for 2019/2020 academic session

  • Three (3) copies of 2019 UTME result slip or Direct Entry registration slip with candidates photograph clearly shown in colour.
  • Three (3) copies of AKSU Photocard (Post-UTME or Direct Entry) screening schedule slip obtained from the University portal, on completion of your Registration.
  • All candidates should ensure using their phone number when filling the application form and a valid email address
  • All uploaded documents must be clearly seen. Blurred or unclear documents result to automatic disqualification.
  • Applicants who did NOT choose AKSU or change to AKSU as their University of First Choice in the 2019/2020 UTME or Direct Entry can also take part in the this exercise.
